Mycroft-Raven by SaitouuRyuuji Mycroft-Raven by SaitouuRyuuji
He may look fat but I think this is what Mycroft would look like as a Raven. Mycroft hates legwork so I put him in a position that Ravens usually are in when they're resting. lol that's why he looks fat. I also made his feathers look a little ruffled because Sherlock is the only one who can get through his defenses and actually bug him. I hope you like, I certainly know I do. I hopefully got the glare right.

lol Mycroft is my favorite character in the BBC Sherlock series.

p.s. lol this mycroft almost looks like he needs a hat.

I love it whenever people draw gentlemanly crows/raves; I feel it suits the genus' personality better than the whole "gloomy" aesthetic.

I have come to love them as being more gentlemanly and smart (I always knew they were smart). I have a soft spot for the crows on my campus, so this year when I saw an adult with three juvies I couldn't help but try to befriend them a little bit (lol let them know i'm not scary if you will). They are so smart, you drop something by accident and you know they're watching. If it's food they'll come up after you're gone to take it).

I first fell in love with crows when I noticed a crow with only one foot (the other had been cut off at the ankle, I would see that crow around for 4 years and one time it even attacked me because I accidentally got too close to it's offspring. They are so resilient). I'm content with going to campus and staying there all day just to watch the crows.

lol that one-footed crow had such a lasting impression on me that in a way she's become a part of a story i'm writing (well the idea of a bird having one foot and still surviving nature at least). I could never come up with a decent name for her so I just call her "The One-footed Wonder" i've been trying to find a better name then that for the longest time lol. Thank you so much for you comment it makes me so happy to see somebody else sees them the same way I do. I think them as being gentlemanly, smart, crazy, fun-loving pranksters.

See, I've been studying birds for around 10 years and Corvids have always been my specialty. It always irks me when all people can think of when crows/ravens come to mind is gloom and doom, when anyone (such as yourself) who has spent any time actually studying them can see that there's so much more than that! It always warms my heart to find others who can see the crow for what it truly is. :)

I think it's the cutest thing in the whole wide world that Crows/Ravens will actually roll in the snow and have fun sliding down snow banks. It's so freaking cute...that's another reason why I find them so endearing. lol they can be so innocent yet such trouble makers at the same time lol.

I know, Birdie Watson is my creation and I just can't help but stare at him in awe. Birdie Watson will kill you with his innocent cuteness. lol I wonder how many people got the pun. He looks so cute as a House Martin. That eye will suck you in. It's those big eyes and that questioning look. Lol I don't think I could have made him any cuter.
